四级作文：My View on Low Carbon Life

Our group choose low carbon life to be our topic on group project. We spent half a month on it and finally made it.

"The villain in the atmosphere is carbon dioxide." said Isaac Asimove. That is. Too much carbon dioxide makes the earth like a greenhouse and become warmer and warmer. Ice melts and climate changes abnormally. It threats our lives and development. However,I only heard of low carbon economy and never heard of low carbon life. I wondered what low carbon life is and how to live a low carbon life.

Later, I knew the concept and importance of low carbon life. Low-carbon life means lifestyle to minimize the energy consumed, thereby reducing carbon dioxide emissions. And we can do a lot to live a low carbon life. There are three principles:"Less meat, less shopping,and more bikes."

To live a low carbon life ,we'd better eat less meat. The entire meat cycle is very very intensive, in terms of carbon dioxide emissions. Scientists also find that producing 1 kg meat will give out 36.4 kg CO2. Have we ever noticed that there are too many people overweight because eat too much meat. So that they have heart diseases and lose their lives slowly. Why don't we eat less meat and keep ourselves fit and strong? Meanwhile, this also helps to live a low carbon life. So ,please eat less meat.

To live a low carbon life, we'd better do less shopping. When we go shopping,we must drive a car or take other transport. These machines are the monsters eating oil and bring out the evil gas-carbon dioxide. At the same time, most of us always buy some useless things when shopping because of some advertisements. In fact, we can live better without them, also we don't need to think about how to deal with the useless things. Producing everything will emission carbon dioxide more or less. So,please do less shopping and buy the very things you need.

To live a low carbon life, we'd better use more bikes. Bikes,unlike other transport, are environmental friendly transport. They don't emission carbon at all. What 's more,it helps us keep healthy. The lever of live is better than ever before but the environment is worse than ever before. So, please use bikes as often as we can and help environment.

Also, there are other ways to live a low carbon life.,such as save electricity,use recycle things and plant trees.

Maybe, you don't agree with me because you think that the economy will be affected, our living quality will descent. That is because you are improvidence and selfish. Have you ever seen that our earth is being destroyed, our existence is being threatened. If we don't pay enough attention to the problems existed, everything will extinct soon, including we human being. And since we already have noticed the problems and known it is wrong to develop with the cost of damaging our earth, it is inevitable to change the methods of economy. Survival of the fittest is also useful for companies. Of course,it is our right to live a luxurious life. But we also know that the resources are limited and will be used up one day. So it is inevitable for human beings to live a simple live in the future. Too much manufacture and consumption make resources into useless trashes. What we need to do is developing the technology and seek for another way of life and economy.

All in all, everyone has the ability and responsibility to live a low carbon life.
