My Pet

I love animals, I have had some pets, but my favorite one is my dog. I remember very clearly the day we bought him. I had just come home from school and my mom announced that we were going to get a dog. I was so happy because I had waited a long time for this day.

Our whole family took the pet to the shop together. “It’s so cute!” I couldn’t help saying. In front of me sat a small puppy. He had big round eyes and a wet nose. I bent down to pet him. The puppy’s light yellow fur was so soft and smooth. “Mom, we have to take him home,” I pleaded. My parents saw how much I liked the dog, so they agreed to let me have it. I had already thought of a name for him — Buddy.

Every day I feed my dog after I eat dinner. After proper exercise and food, Buddy is now big and strong.炎炎英文培训网

On the weekends we usually take Buddy to the park.He likes running there. Once, he ran so far that we couldn’t keep him in sight. We shouted his name loudly but still he didn’t come back. After 10 minutes or so he ran back with a cans happily，lovely Buddy.

When I come home from school, Buddy always runs to greet me. He usually jumps up and he is so heavy. I remember one day it was raining heavily outside. As always, Buddy came. He took my umbrella from my hands and ran into with it. In a flash, he came out again to take my coat up. Like that, he helped me carry most of my things inside.

Buddy is very musical. Every time I play the music, he lies at my feet. If the music sounds nice, he lies on his back with his legs in the air as if he is enjoying it. If the music is not beautiful, he sniffs and looks at me from the corner of his eye while going onto the front porch.

Buddy is like a friend to me. He has brought us lots of happiness and laughter.

What are the reasons in the end, resulting in so many college graduates today find work? I see only two reasons: one is the government's heavy taxes, and the other is China's real estate bubble rise too quickly. Two reasons for this is like two big mountains, the little business struggling to make the business of space is becoming smaller and smaller; but also to fight a lot of enthusiasm for investors to start a business, people would rather sit and watch their bank 17 trillion yuan in deposits continue to be devalued, but also dare to venture out.

**It Pays to Be Honest**

Honesty is a virtue that is often compromised in today's world. Students are prone to cheating in exams, while some parents encourage their children to deceive bus assistants by pretending to be shorter to avoid fees. Such instances of dishonesty are prevalent, leading to a life of constant duplicity for the majority.

However, this pursuit of short-term gains through dishonesty only leads to long-term misfortune. Living with integrity means being open and honest. It entails expressing your thoughts because you believe there's no need to hide your beliefs. Being dishonest, whether as a defense mechanism or to gain promotions or wealth, creates an 'inner darkness' that haunts individuals throughout their lives.

While dishonesty might bring temporary success, it ultimately prevents one from facing themselves. If you cannot look at yourself in the mirror with a clear conscience, how can you truly be yourself?

In conclusion, staying honest, no matter the cost, ensures that you receive what you deserve in the end. The integrity of your mind promises an intact soul and true fulfillment. It is evident that honesty is not only the right thing to do but also the most beneficial choice one can make.
